NETGEAR Orbi RBK752 is newly launched, attacking the mid-range WiFi 6 Mesh market
NETGEAR Orbi Mesh has received rave reviews since its launch. In the new era of 802.11ax, it will certainly continue its brilliant achievements in the market.
NETGEAR was the first to launch the world's first tri-band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh kit - Orbi RBK852 / RBK853 (AX6000) last year, firmly occupying the market's top flagship throne; in March, it also launched the entry-level dual-band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh - Nighthawk MK62 / MK63 (AX1800), priced at more than a thousand yuan, enjoys the stable and durable superior quality of American brands, so it is favored by consumers.
Today, NETGEAR grandly announces the launch of the Orbi RBK752 / RBK753 tri-band AX4200 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh package, attacking the mid-range market and completing the high, high, and low-end product lines.
All three bands are Wi-Fi 6, enjoy the benefits of Wi-Fi 6
NETGEAR's latest model Orbi RBK752 (2-pack) / RBK753 (3-pack) Mesh Wi-Fi is superior in the market in that it provides three Wi-Fi 6 channels, both 2.4GHz and device-specific. 5GHz, or the internal transmission Backhaul 5GHz channel between the host and extension, all are the latest 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 standard.
Whether you are at the end of a residential unit or in a distant place such as a garden, where you may need to connect to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi with a stronger signal, or your mobile computer is connected to the 5GHz channel, you can ensure that you can enjoy the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard at all times, and enjoy extremely fast, Low latency, low interference, super strong signal, and the ability to accommodate many devices at the same time are the benefits of Wi-Fi 6. In this way, there will be no problem that some channels are N (Wi-Fi 4) or AC (Wi-Fi 5) standards, causing Backhaul to compete with the device for a single AX 5GHz channel, and the problem will be significantly slowed down when there are more devices.
Independent 4-Stream Backhaul channel, tail room does not slow down
The AX4200 Wi-Fi speed of NETGEAR Orbi RBK752 / RBK753 represents 2.4GHz device side 600Mbps + 5GHz device side 1200Mbps + 5GHz Backhaul 2400Mbps. The speeds of the three channels are all distributed appropriately without much disparity.
All traffic from the Satellite Node extension placed in the room will be transmitted to the broadband line of the Router Node host in the living room through Backhaul; therefore, the Backhaul channel of Orbi RBK752 / RBK753 uses 4 Wi-Fi Streams (spatial streaming), just like 4 traffic lanes , ensuring there is sufficient bandwidth to the host.
Orbi RBK752 / RBK753 has 3 Wi-Fi channels, an independent backhaul, and does not need to share the 5GHz channel with the device. This is also the main reason why the measured speed in the back room does not drop and is similar to the speed of the host in the living room. Compared with other dual-band Mesh Wi-Fi on the market, the speed drops in the back room and may not be suitable for playing video games or watching 4K live broadcasts. Orbi RBK752 / RBK753 is superior in this regard.
As for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi on the device side, there are two Wi-Fi Streams, 600Mbps and 1200Mbps respectively, corresponding to the specifications of mainstream AX devices on the market.
There will only be one Wi-Fi name (Wi-Fi SSID) in the whole house, which will be automatically assigned to 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi according to the specifications of the device. When the user walks from the living room to the back room, Orbi will seamlessly allocate the connection of the device from the original host to the extension (Seamless Roaming), and there will be no disconnection in the process. No matter where they go, users can rest assured knowing that Orbi will automatically assign devices to the host or extension with the fastest speed and strongest signal.
Supports WAN + LAN Link Aggregation totaling 2Gbps
Each Orbi RBK752 / RBK753 host or extension is equipped with up to 6 antennas, providing extremely strong signals and an extra large Wi-Fi range. In terms of ports, Orbi RBK752 / 753's Router Node host has 1 Gigabit WAN and 3 Gigabit LAN, and the Satellite Node extension has 2 Gigabit LAN, which is more than other Mesh Wi-Fi products, making it convenient for users to connect to PS4, Set-top boxes and computers, etc., avoid the trouble of not having enough port space and wasting plug-in slots and space to connect the Switch.
In addition, the WAN port and LAN port also support Link Aggregation (requires Modem to support Internet Port Aggregation). Together, the two lines can reach 2 Gbps Internet speed, eliminating the 1Gbps broadband limitation of high-speed Wi-Fi 6. The CPU is equipped with Qualcomm's 1.4GHz quad-core A53 architecture main processor, coupled with a 1.0GHz dual-core co-processor to efficiently handle data transmission.
Installation and setting are as simple as other Orbi models. They are all completed through the "NETGEAR Orbi" mobile app, which can also manage the network remotely. Users can also upgrade and subscribe to Armor network anti-virus, and use Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa to voice control the Orbi Mesh Wi -Fi.
